The course

Staging Change is a course for aspiring learning disabled actors who have acted professionally before. Our aim is to allow learning disabled actors to develop their talent through training.

Students work alongside non-disabled drama students at five top drama schools. They learn about acting for the stage, TV, radio and film.

The training includes

 - voice work

 - character work

 - movement studies

 - physical theatre

 - improvisation skills

Previous students have gone on to become professional actors on national tours, on the television and on the radio. Several of them are in our Acting Company
