Theatre projects for individuals
Our Outreach projects are for people with a learning disability who like drama, acting and theatre. Over the past few years we have run a range of projects from one-day workshops to weekend and week-long programmes. We are pleased to be able to tell you about two exciting new opportunities to get involved with Mind the Gap in 2010.
Starting on Friday 22nd January, and every Friday until the end of March, we are running FREE Dance theatre workshops for people living anywhere in Yorkshire.
For young people at school or who cannot make it every Friday we are also running a Have a Go Weekend: choose your own adventure on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th March. This project is for people aged 13 to 19, living in Bradford and District.
For more information about either project please contact us on 01274 487390 or email arts@mind-the-gap.org.uk

Shadow People
A week-long drama and media project culminating in a open-air event in Lister Mills central courtyard: Shadow People

Real Voices, Real Lives
Rooted in topical news stories and intended to stimulate debate, this piece will tell the hidden stories of people with learning disabilities in our time.
It demands attention for the stories about people with learning disabilities that rarely make the front page.
Developed alongside Leeds University MA students and Mind the Gap’s professional learning disabled actors for schools and colleges. This challenging and exciting piece of debate theatre is equally appropriate for other groups and associations, available through special arrangement. Contact us for more details.
If you have any questions you can ring us on 01274 487390 or email outreach@mind-the-gap.org.uk Or you could fill in our enquiry form online.
