Hello, Jonathan, Susan, Zara and Alison from Acting Company here. This is our last blog for this year because we break up for Summer holiday today.

This week is Stig of the Dump development week, we have been working with Tim, Barney who is the man making the set, Mike who is the writer and some students from Leeds University who we are going to develop the schools workshop for Stig with us.

The cast for Stig is Daniel and JoAnne from Making Theatre, Alan from Acting Company and a lady called Gemma who we haven't worked with before.

Next year all of us in Acting Company will be delivering the schools workshop. The age group for the workshop is 7 to 11 year olds, so this week we've been doing research on the internet about what they're into.

We haven't really worked with people that young before so it will be challenging for us, but that's good because a challenge can be fun. We'll have to make sure the workshop is lively to keep them interested but not go overboard because they might not be able to focus for long periods of time.

We've all had a very busy year, and can't believe how fast it's gone! Here are some of our best bits,

Anna: It's been a busy year doing Articulate which is some training me and Tim and Joyce have been running with a company called Shape in London. There'll be more of them next year which is good because I love doing it!

Zara: I really liked seeing the Of Mice & Men national tour and going out and doing the schools workshop.

John: I liked the Making Theatre showcase that they did for friends and family this week, I was impressed by the range of acting and dancing skills.

Alison: My first year in Acting Company has been very good, I've been set lots of new challenges and it's nice to know I've got through my apprentice year and I'm already looking forward to back next year.

Susan: I liked being away in Cardiff for 3 days for Chicken Coup! it was lovely, but I feel asleep on the train coming home!

See you in October, have a good Summer!
