Hello, all of the Acting Company here giving you our first week back blog.

It’s our first week back after our Half Term holiday.  ‘What holiday’ said Susan, Jonny, Ed, Jonathan and Alan, who all worked on Shadow People.

On Monday we had 30 visitors from Northumbia Uni, they were Matt Hargrave’s Theatre degree students.  Matt caused havoc as usual and we want our fob back!  They were friendly and ‘studenty’ and we liked having them around, they had cool hair and lovely accents.

Jonny said that he feels good about Shadow People last week and that it was a success using cameras and new media stuff.

At the moment we’re working on a new piece called One Day I’m Gonna – it’s all about dreams and we’re all wearing pyjamas.  Susan has pink pyjamas with a button up top… we’re all laughing at each other a lot.  Rio is choreographing it!  She’s having lots of ideas from our dance classes.  Anna is loving dance, her mum used to be a dancer and it is showing other sides to her.

A new dance teacher, Mia, started yesterday and Alan has also signed up for her evening classes at Yorkshire Dance.  We are using dance more and more, and it’s great!
