The Boo tour has reached the halfway stage and the actors have had a well deserved rest.  So your faithful blogger thought, lets get on the phone and ask them how it's been going, Alan wasn't free to talk but the others had plenty to say.

Rob said that the tour has been great and that it has been really fun meeting new people and doing the show.  But, that it is taking its toll and he can't go 5 minutes in the car without falling asleep.  JoAnne said that sometimes when there have been a few shows close together it has been a bit stressful but mostly is definitely enjoying it.  Jonny said that its good because they have become such great mates.

I asked about the first show out of MTG, they all felt a bit weird on a different stage but that Anna the tour manger helped them get used to it.  The first place was The Albany and Rob said that it was one of his favourites, i think part of that was being back down South, near where he's from.  JoAnne said that she was missing home a bit but she keeps phoning and texting her family and friends so its not too bad.

There have been a few funny moments on tour and Rob told me about one performance when his phone flew out of his pocket into the audience and an usher had to throw it back to him.  Jonny said that some of the car journeys have been funny and they have nicknamed the Sat Nav "Boo" as it only seems to like going left!

They have even been asked for autographs, Jonny said he has signed quite a few programmes and Rob had some teenagers come up to him in Wolverhampton and ask him to sign their poster.

There are more dates to come in 'Act 2' of the tour so click here to look for a venue near you!
