We met the Caritas group today. They have been working on the Moth Ball with Mandy Chen since March. Mandy was a CCCD intern that worked with Mind the Gap on the Moth Ball last December. We are also working with Joyce Lee who studied the MA in Theatre and Development at University of Leeds. We worked with her on I’m with Stupid at the beginning of 2008. After the rehearsal we went to a musical instrument shop. Jez played a Gu-zheng in the shop and Tim played a gong! We then went to eat Dim sum which range of small dishes of food served in bamboo steamers. It is beautifully presented. Jez is trying out many new Chinese foods. Not just Sweet and Sour Chicken! Eating Dim sum is a very relaxed and civilized way to have a meal. Everyone shares each dish and people pour each other tea.

Jez: It’s great to meet so many new faces as well as people we already know. I really enjoyed the rehearsal. I’m ready for an up-rising!

Tim: Steady on Jez… we’re here for two weeks!
