Jez is really itching to buy some new combat gear. We went to eat curry at the infamous Chungking Mansions and he nearly bought 500 camouflage jackets from the wholesale market there! Chungking has changed in recent years but it used to be a cheap (and seedy) place to stay for backpackers and migrant workers. It is like a huge warren full of shops, restaurants and hostels.

Today Jez met a blind musician called Hong and they jammed together in a recording studio in the Lutheran Centre for the Blind. We hope that Hong may be able to take part in Moth Ball HK.

Language is a very funny thing. Especially when you’re trying to translate from one language to another. We were talking to someone about Mind the Gap and the work we do and they said it must be so rewarding to work with ‘mentally difficult’ people.

Jez: It is important to be a diplomat – I’m diplomatic.

Tim: I think I’m a problemat – I’m problematic!
