Ed here, I'm co-facilitating this week with Alan on Shadow People.  This week I should be on holiday but I have decided to come in and help with Shadow People (nothing to do with the fact that I had nothing else to do!).  Here's what we've been up to so far.

Shadow People is this half term's Outreach project, working with learning disabled and non-disabled participants.  We are making a sort of performance piece using shadows which will be this Friday at 6pm.

The audience will be friends and family, and residents of Lister Mills apartments.  We will be using a siren to get their attention and then there will be some scary 'monstery' shadows in the courtyard.

Today we were told what the project was and the technology in the building we would be using - more or less every bit of tech we have!

We were then split into two groups.  One group was playing Grandmother's Footsteps, it starts as Grandmother but whoever touches Grandmother's shoulder is 'on'.  We had one person being all the members of McFly - we were all groupies, Harry Potter - the rest of us were from Hogwarts and Dr Who - we were Daleks and Cyber Men.  The other group were in Studio 3 making and filming shadows, then we swapped.

Today has been pretty hectic, a lot has gone on and it seems ages since I got in at 9am this morning for the planning briefing.  So, Day 1 over... I'm sure tomorrow will be just as crazy.  For now, peace out!
