'Day two in the Shadow People house...'

This morning I had a short briefing and then we got ready to meet the participants.  First thing the whole group played Grandmother's Footsteps outside on the decking.  This is because on the night we will play a large version of the game with all the audience so this was our rehearsal.

Then we came back in, got warmed up, and split into three groups.  One group was doing green screening where they stand in front of the screen with a camera pointing at them, which is then shown on another screen with a background behind them.

Another group did shadow images by standing behind one of the white screens we used in Boo - there was a light behind it too so that their shadow appeared on the screen and was filmed.

The third group made sound effects that will be used on Friday, so the noise of people being scared, monsters, heavy footsteps and other mood setting noises.  Then after break and after lunch we all swapped round so that every group got to do all three.

The whole day was making these images and sound effects for the performance on Friday.  It hasn't gone as quick as yesterday as it was more stop and start, which is what it is like being on set.

The participants are keen to take part and seem to enjoy getting to have a go at doing everything, and they all left in good spirits.

I'm not sure what we will be doing tomorrow, I'm full of cold so I'm hoping that whatever it is I'll be doing it cold free.  I'm enjoying myself and looking forward to the performance on Friday.
