Today was a good day.  First of all we did a name game to refresh everyone's memory.  Then the rest of the morning was mostly a repeat of yesterday morning, working as a whole group doing warm-ups and getting our brains working.

In the afternoon we worked on reworking classic fairy tales like Hansel and Gretel, Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks.  We brought them up to date and set them in Bradford and the surrounding area.  So one group turned Red Riding Hood into Blue Riding Hoody and in the story she had an iPhone and the school bully called Wolf, wanted the iPhone.

I was in a group and we did Hansel and Gretel, which we called Jade and Olly played by participants called... you guessed it Jade and Olly!  In the original their dad leaves them in the woods, in our version they get left in a park in Bingley.

We worked in groups all afternoon then we showed each other what we have worked on so far.  Each participant brought their own storytelling and acting to the group.

Tomorrow we will be making noises and sound effects, but I'm not really sure how we are going to do it so it's all very exciting.

Check back tomorrow for more "once upon a time".
