We are Zara and Edmund from the Acting Company. We are writing this blog because we are from the IF group – the Ideas Forum at Mind the Gap. It is the group that comes up with ideas to help Mind the Gap move forward with lots of exciting projects. We’re going to write about this building and about Mind the Gap all this year. Our new building is very spacious! We have a nice kitchen, and loads of space where it’s nice to chat.We have 3 new studios. Studio 1 isn’t quite finished because of all the new kit that’s going in. Studio 3 is also a dance studio. We went in there and had a boogie as well as a look around. Studio 2 is the ART HUB, where we’ll be making stuff (and a mess). We did a workshop there this week looking at risks and hazards in the new building. We’re looking forward to using the building this year, especially getting our hands on all the tech gear and seeing what makes it tick!
