Along with our training and taster programmes for individuals we are able to offer bespoke training and best practice sessions, workshops and performance pieces for groups and organisations.  This work can be inspired and developed from a range of versatile pieces that we currently have in rep or can be commissioned to your brief, for your needs.

With extensive knowledge in this area, we can offer relevant and upto date staff training sessions in professional practice around working with people with learning disabilities.  We can appropriate training sessions for support workers and people managers or offer thorough integrated training for people at all levels.

We can also offer interactive forum style performances pieces ideal for conferences and seminars as a starting point to raise wider issues around disability.

Real Voices Real Lives

series of short theatre provocations taken directly from real media stories.  This piece is particularly to generate discussion and awareness around disability issues.

Developed with MA Students from University of Leeds this can also be adapted as part of disability awareness training and best practice in Higher Education.

 

This is Me

Particularly relevant for work on progression routes in schools and colleges, this is a 1½ hour training package around interview skills for people with learning disabilities.

 

 

 

Four Seasons

Developed by Mind the Gap Acting Company specifically for people with complex needs, Four Seasons is a complete sensory experience.  Taking participants on a journey of the changing seasons using the latest AudioVisual and Green Screening technology.

Each section of the workshop is broken down into performance and interactive elements, which is repeated to create a familiar pattern encouraging maximum engagement from participants.
