Cow and Calf Performance

For those of you using the coach please remember it will depart at 6.45pm prompt outside The Kings Hall and Winter Gardens, opposite Ilkley train station.

Monday 25th October, 2010:

Like all good theatre folks Mind the Gap is committed to the principle that “the show must go on” – and everyone here is busy making final preparations and rehearsals for the show on Friday.

We always knew that running an event at the end of October in the beautiful, wild and dramatic setting of the Cow & Calf presents some vulnerability from the vagaries of the British weather.

The forecast for Friday is for milder temperatures than recently, but some risk of light rain. Therefore we wanted to remind all our brave audience members to:

- dress warmly
- wear waterproof clothing if possible
- wear footwear that is suitable for modest uphill, rocky and slightly boggy conditions

The Cow & Calf site is an integral part of the creative experience and this will ensure you can fully enjoy and appreciate it!

THE SHOW WILL NOT BE CANCELLED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

We do have contingency plans if the weather conditions are forecast to worsen considerably. In the event that the weather turns really cold, or extremely windy, or rain is likely to be very heavy), we will:

- contact you by email AND telephone at least 24 hours before the event (so please ensure you have given us a telephone number that we can reach you on)
- relocate the event to Mind the Gap Studios, Patent Street, Bradford, BD9 4SA (telephone 01274 487390)
- provide coach transport from Station Road, Ilkley (adjacent to the train station) at 6:45pm as planned – but this will transport you to Bradford (approx 30 mins travel), and then return audience members to the same drop off point after the show
