Following the Government’s latest advice about Covid-19, Mind the Gap has made the decision to cancel the performances of The Vultures’ Song, which were scheduled to take place on 27 & 28 March. Ticket refunds will be issued automatically over the next couple of days.
In order to support artists and companies at this difficult time, we will still be paying Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah the agreed fee for the performances and hope to work with the company again in the not so distant future.

The Vultures’ Song
Friday 27 & Saturday 28 March 2020, 1pm
The Vultures’ Song is a play that follows a young girl’s journey to safety as she experiences the consequences of a land divided. A comical committee of inquisitive vultures narrate the story, poking fun whilst they loiter, waiting to clean up.
Join a determined and brave young girl on her epic and transformative journey. Along the way we meet her protective older sister, friendly neighbours who risk their own safety to help, people exploiting the situation for their own gain and other children who, unlike our central character, have benefitted from the changes in their country.
Presented by Leeds-based Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah, The Vultures’ Song is written by award-winning playwright Mike Kenny and explores migration, change and community across cultures and generations. A powerful yet comical play to be enjoyed by the whole family.
Suitable for ages 9+
Running time: 60 minutes, no interval
