Mind the Gap is pleased to be supporting Learning Disability Week 2011.
To coincide with the first day of Learning Disability Week 2011, today we held auditions and interviews for people who would like to join our Making Theatre training programme. Making Theatre is a one-year college style course for adults with a learning disability who want to learn about theatre and performing. We so really impressed by everyone who came along, it really shows how many talented learning disabled performers are out there!
If you're a young person, or you can get a friendly young person to agree to let you tag along! Make sure you get to the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate this Saturday to see the egg-cellent Chicken Coup! at Culture Shock Festival.
'Hatch' a plan to catch our latest strut-about festival show, Chicken Coup! tomorrow at Bradford Mela in Peel Park - then upload all your pictures to our facebook page at: www.facebook.com/MtGChickenCoup
Over the next few months Mind the Gap's chickens will be flying the coop and landing at a festival near you!
Expect thrilling chase scenes, riotous slapstick, general silliness and lots of fowl language in this, family friendly, strut-about festival offering.
For all the news, straight from the roost 'like' our fan page at:
