There’s lots of drama, excitement and laughs
My name is Jez Colborne, I am an actor and performer. I have a learning disability called William’s Syndrome. I have done a lot of interesting things with Mind the Gap, including going round the world doing shows and it’s always great when we work together.
I want to tell you about a fantastic play that I am doing with Mind the Gap, ‘Of Mice & Men’. I will be playing the part of George – he is quite a sharp character and he knows his stuff. George tries to look out for Lennie, keeping an eye on him and making sure he doesn’t get involved with the wrong people. He feels very responsible for Lennie but it’s not easy looking after him as he always seems to end up in trouble.
I have played the part of George every time Mind the Gap have done ‘Of Mice & Men’ and the play means a lot to me. There’s a lot that happens, you can believe in it and go through the story with them and be shocked at the end.
There’s lots of drama, excitement and laughs, so please come along and enjoy yourself and enjoy the ride!
