CAST! was a one day event. It asks a big question about how learning disabled artists can reach the next stage of their career. There were casting directors and producers, producers, artists and people who work in disability related organisations speaking. There were some workshops to take part in to learn new skills.

CAST! is hosted by Mind the Gap, the UK’s leading theatre company working with learning disabled artists. It is in association with Croydon Clocktower, a venue in Greater London. Speakers included performers and artists from Mind the Gap, Heart ‘n Soul, Oily Cart, Theatre Centre, StopGAP, BBC Radio and Television Drama, Mencap, and Arts Council England.
