Hull Truck

Here’s what the Cast had to say after 5 performances at Hull Truck Theatre this week.  JoAnne, “We had loads of really good shows, with three full houses and two smaller more intimate shows. We met an audience member after today’s show called Alex, who was visually impaired, his favourite part was chanting jam jar jelly baby.”

Alan said, “We had a secret Santa challenge this week as it is our last week on the road. There was a time limit and a price limit. I dressed up as Santa and I had sparkly Christmas tree glasses, a tie that said kiss me and a Santa sack. After that we did party pieces – Dan did impressions, I did a rap, JoAnne drew a picture of the set, Gemma did poems about everyone, Fi did a quiz about the tour and Charlie did a performance of what she does when she travels alone.”

Daniel said, “We had trouble with the basket in one of our shows, it fell off at the wrong point onto JoAnnes head, but we disguised it with a humorous ad-lib.”

Gemma, “The writer Mike Kenny came to see the show again and brought us a gift of a mini Stonehenge, and man called Geoff came to interview us for a PHD thesis he is writing about directors.”

Your last chance to see this magical retelling is tomorrow (Friday 9 December) at Mind the Gap Studios, Bradford.  The show starts at 7pm – phone 01274 487390 for tickets
