Mind the Gap is pleased to announce that the company’s application to Arts Council England’s Emergency Response Fund for National Portfolio Organisations has been successful. We have been awarded £54,000 which replaces lost income through earnings and grants as a result of the Covid-19 crisis.

Executive Director Julia Skelton said, “This is very welcome news that will help Mind the Gap to weather the financial storm created by the Covid-19 crisis. This Emergency Response investment will ensure that we can continue to offer creative opportunities and support for learning-disabled established and emerging artists, who are among those who are experiencing particular vulnerabilities and challenges in the context of the pandemic. We appreciate that many organisations and artists have been thrown into personal and professional crisis by Covid-19. We will do everything in our power to ensure we use these valuable Arts Council England Lottery funds wisely to provide support and opportunities for those who are most at risk of financial hardship and social isolation”.
