At Mind the Gap, we believe in the power of arts, creativity, and storytelling to bring about positive change. As England’s premier learning disability performance and arts company, we put people with learning disabilities and/or autism at the heart of everything we do. We work with ambition and passion, testing new ways of working that champion and celebrate difference and diversity. Based in Bradford, this is an exciting time to join us as we prepare for the UK City of Culture in 2025.

Who We’re Looking For

We want our Board of Trustees to include people with diverse skills, opinions, and ideas, enriched by a wide range of lived experiences and knowledge. You don’t need previous board experience—just a passion for and interest in our work.

We are particularly interested in people with the following skills and interests:

• Financial Knowledge: Understanding accounts and developing successful businesses to join the Board and our Money & Partners Action Group.
• Communications & Marketing: Interest and knowledge in communications (including digital media) to help us develop exciting ways of reaching new audiences.
• Climate Sustainability: Passion for environmental issues, to become our Board’s Climate Action Champion
