Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised environment? Do you have a knack for ensuring spaces are secure and well-kept? If so, Mind the Gap has an exciting opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking a part-time, permanent Caretaker to join our dynamic and busy team at Lister Mills (also known as Manningham Mills), a stunning Grade 2 Listed Building. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and security of our unique workspace, used by a vibrant community of artists and creatives.

Key Responsibilities

Security and Keyholder Duties
  • Act as the keyholder for the building, ensuring it is securely locked and the alarm is set at the end of each day.
  • Maintain the security of the workspace, used by 30 to 70 people daily from Monday to Friday.
Cleaning and Maintenance
  • Uphold the cleanliness of our large office, smaller offices, and three versatile studios.
  • Follow special requirements for cleaning and maintaining the Grade 2 Listed Building.
  • Perform occasional odd jobs and minor fixes around the building.
  • Assist in setting up spaces for events and hirings.
About Our Workspace: Located over two floors at Lister Mills, our workspace includes:
  • A main large office
  • Smaller offices
  • Three studios used for various arts and creative activities
What We’re Looking For
  • A responsible individual who can take pride in keeping our workspace clean, neat, and well-organised.
  • Someone who can handle the responsibility of securing the building.
  • It’s a plus if you have basic skills for fixing things, though it’s not essential.
  • An individual who can help set up spaces for events and studio hires when needed.
