International Women’s Day Event

On 8 March 2016 we held our International Women’s Day & DVD Launch Event, which celebrated powerful women from history and the Magna Carta. Audience members were treated to performances about Rosa Parks, Queen Tamar and England’s first female barrister Helena Normanton by  young people from Mind the Gap, Carlton Bolling College and Grange Technology College.

“I loved how the cast made a lot of complicated historical issues so easy to understand and enjoyable to watch. It was great to see young people take a lead on equality issues in the performances. Well done to all, when’s the next one?” – Audience Member
