Mind the Gap Studios

Designed and built to meet the needs of the company, Mind the Gap Studios are accessible for all.

Situated in the heart of one of Bradford’s most iconic buildings, Mind the Gap Studios features an impressive 122 seat theatre, three stunning studio spaces, two meeting rooms, and a bright and airy central space where everyone can gather, eat, drink, get creative, or just chill and chat.

Once the largest silk factory in the world, Lister Mills became the company’s home in 2008.  Standing proudly in the heart of Bradford, this magnificent building is Grade II* Listed which means it has historical and architectural significance and is of special interest. Mind the Gap’s work fits with the building’s legacy – world-leading, creative, inventive and recognised as a great asset to the city’s arts scene.

Open Space

During our quieter months, from June to September, we make some of our spaces available for theatre makers to use, free of charge, as part of the Open Space programme. Available for meetings, rehearsals, research and development or to try out ideas in a professional, hi-tech environment.

To be fair to everyone, the Open Space programmes is only open to small companies and individual artists who do not have access to professional rehearsal space and is subject to availability. We welcome hire enquiries from larger organisations as well. Get in touch using the form below to find out more.
