A wellbeing and art community.

My Creative Club is a wellbeing and art community for learning disabled and/or autistic families. While it’s aimed for children around 8-12, those over 5 are welcome to join and siblings can join in too.
We get together to talk about the ups and downs of our week, explore artists and different art styles and often use nature as a way to get creative too. We shape the group around young people’s needs but the sessions tend to have lots of chances to chat and play – for adults and children alike! We’re consent-based which means that, as long as it’s not stopping others from joining in and everyone is safe, young people can decide how and when they join in activities.
"Zara successfully challenges assumptions, and boldly and creatively gives a voice to parents with learning disabilities."
"The company that's raised the bar for theatre with learning-disabled artists."
"A true jewel in the city's crown."
Mind the Gap are pivotal to our cultural landscape, both in Bradford and West Yorkshire, and beyond.
