IF shortlisted for award at Oska Bright Film Festival
Mind the Gap's Ideas Forum, or 'IF' as they call themselves have been shortlisted for Best Young Filmmakers at Oska Bright Film Festival this year.
Oska Bright is a film festival run by, and for, people with a learning disability. IF sent 4 of the films they made for the I'm with Stupid project last year. All the films will be shown in the festival and Thug Dance is the film that got them shortlisted.

Irresistible to be part of London 2012 Festival
Mind the Gap is delighted to be able to confirm that Jez Colborne has received a commission from Unlimited* to develop his piece Irresistible to be performed as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
Stig of the Dump coming to a venue near you
Our UK Tour of Clive King's children's classic launches on Thursday 13th October here at Mind the Gap Studios. This charming production will then be performed 42 times at venues across the country.
An enchanting tale of a unique friendship: Stig wears rabbit-skins, has his own language and uses empty tin cans for a chimney. Barney has scuffed shoes, grazed knees and dirty fingernails. Join them on their magical adventure as puppetry and performance turn rubbish into something real, change scrap into scenery and make garbage gorgeous!

End of term
This week was the last week of term for Acting Company, Making Theatre and the Get into... groups. It's been a great year guys, thanks for all your hard work! Have a great Summer and we looking forward to seeing lots of you at the beginning of October.
