Join us for a creative and informal ‘Zine’ Making workshop. A Zine is like a comic book made of pictures and stories, hand-written, collaged, painted or drawn – Zines can be about anything! Join artist YAYA to make a Zine about your life, your stories and your dreams. Come for one session or join us every week for free. We will provide all of the materials you need to make your mark in this unique way. This activity is suitable for families and people with learning disabilities and/or autism. We especially want to meet children and young people not currently accessing school settings or learning differently.

About Activate
Activate is all about coming together – artists, families, and neighbours like you – to shine a light on the incredible lives of people with learning disabilities and/or autism. It’s a place where stories come alive and where everyone’s voice is heard! Join us from April to November 2024 as we embark on an exciting journey through Manningham’s creative spaces, schools, and community hubs, offering free workshops for all ages. We want to hear YOUR story – the challenges, the joys, the creative spark that makes Manningham truly unique. Together, we’ll weave these stories into a beautiful piece of theatre to share with our community.
